A PROPOSITION
I have a proposition to you all: that we should all sign up for Disqus accounts (it is super easy), and enable comments on our Tumblogs. I know a lot of you already have them already, however many do not. The addidtion of comments to a Tumblr brings a number of benefits.
1. We don’t all have to read the long conversations people have. Email and facebook were invented for a reason people, I don’t want to read about you making social plans.
2. It allows us to take a chance to visit each other’s pages: something that does not happen nearly enough. Each page has been customized to each person and we are missing out on what they have created by keeping to out dashboards.
3. Some people may wish to leave a comment on your Tumblr but do not have an account or do not wish to reblog the post. Those people will be able to voice their opinion this way.
4. I can probably make up more benefits, instead I am going to put comments back in my Tumblr.
