if you have keys to grebel, and it’s after loud hour, use the short end door. it works, there’s no fidgeting required, and it makes it easier on the guy with a table top over a chair holding his lappy, a clipboard and a pen… oh look… another one.

Grebel Viewbook
I was cleaning my room today and found the new viewbook. I just want to say that I realized they bleached my teeth. Kathleen’s and my teeth are literally glowing white. Nobody’s teeth are that white in real life (well at least not mine).

You know what would be the best?
If every Wednesday a resident posted whats for commie supper (so up apartmenters could know whether to show up starving or not).
Also, is there a way to find out whats for snack ahead of time? That would be the very best.

I was just thinking about one of my favourite “traditions” of commie supper. If tables are called started from the window, moving to the wall then a few quiet voices around the room break out into “from the window! to the wall!” Just that one line. Every time. Several people. The best.
It's always embarassing
when you’re creeping people from the apartments (we have a prime spot) and you think they can’t see you but then they catch you in the act. I sometimes don’t bother disguising and just wave.

I have a proposition to you all: that we should all sign up for Disqus accounts (it is super easy), and enable comments on our Tumblogs. I know a lot of you already have them already, however many do not. The addidtion of comments to a Tumblr brings a number of benefits.

Not Two Lesbians, Three!!! Group Sex! (my ex-grebel roomate taught me this awesome trick)
so today I am wearing my grebel sweatpants even though it is a million degrees outside. I miss it. I can’t wait to get back and eat outside everyday and get attacked by wasps and study outside and tan on the patio. it is going to be a good summer.

Its been awhile since I've had death muffins

I was sitting in my usual reading nook today and some either friends or relatives of Bec were by to visit Caleb, and whilst they waited for Bec to get back from lunch, they were discussing Grebel as outsiders (who apparently know more than just Bec, the one girl apparently knew a frosh who wasn’t around). at my work we have two main themes for the kids during their stay. one is the environment (obvi) and the other is community. yesterday when one of my bosses was introducing the theme of community she must have said the word community more than I have ever heard Mary say. oh yeah, this is almost like livejournal. thank hannukah.

If you go to http://grebel.tumblr.com you will see the user name of the person under each post. If you want to see posts from it on your main dashboard, just click “Follow” like you would for a normal tumblog. Does that clear it up?

While we’re on the topic of elections, does anyone have a sense on how the Student Refugee Program fee referendum will go? I haven’t been on campus, so I don’t have much of a sense of how it was received. Having everyone pay $1 will do a heck of a lot more than each of us paying $10…
